A Message from the Apple Pie Contest Committee

The Pleasantville Farmers Market Apple Pie Contest Committee has many people and groups to thank for making this year’s contest a huge success! It truly was an entire community event; bakers, PFM staff, PFM Board, judges, volunteers, interns, vendors, musicians, and Pleasantville DPW. Know that we appreciate all the ways, big and small, everyone helped to make it a great day!

Not only was it a fun day with beautiful and delicious pies and crisps, but it was record breaking, both in the number of registrations and where bakers traveled from. We reached our 40-pie limit for the first time and drew bakers from 18 different towns. We look forward to seeing new and returning bakers next year, on Saturday, October 3, 2026 for another Pleasantville Farmers Market Apple Pie Contest!

Best Wishes,
