A WARM WELCOME AWAITS

Welcome to the Pleasantville Farmers Market, the largest year-round farmers market in Westchester. Voted Best of Westchester by readers of Westchester Magazine ten years in a row (2014–23), the Pleasantville Farmers Market is a perfect stop on your way to your destination or, better yet, as a destination in itself. Located just off Bedford Road in the heart of a beautiful historic walking village, the Market boasts over 60 vendors—and hosts a diverse variety of fresh greens, meats, dairy items, root crops, apples, prepared foods, and more.

The Market is run by Foodchester, Inc., a volunteer-based not-for-profit organized by Pleasantville residents in 2012. Our continuing goals are to support regional agriculture, healthy eating, community togetherness, visitation to Pleasantville, and patronage of the neighboring shops, entertainment venues, and eateries that make the village a great destination.

The Pleasantville Farmers Market regularly inspects all vendor farms and kitchens so that you can be confident in the integrity of your purchases from our carefully curated vendor mix. In addition to amazing food, the Market organizes weekly music, kids events, and a health & culinary series, including chef demos, nutritionist visits, and our annual apple pie contest.

Pleasantville’s Carryout Bag Ordinance is now in effect. Don’t forget to bring your reusable bags or stop by the Managers Tent to pick up a new one.

Please be aware that, except for service animals, the Pleasantville Farmers Market is a pet-free environment.
